Testing! MAC Cosmetics Powder Kiss Lipstick

Just a quickie blog today as I was overly ambitious with Valentines Day baking and pampering! Had to share how much I love my two new MAC Cosmetics Powder Kiss lipsticks…

Although MAC Cosmetics Powder Kiss Lipsticks have been out since last October, I hadn’t really paid them any attention. As I own a few matte lipsticks from MAC, I know how drying they can be, so, although I love them, I left the Powder Kiss range alone. However, it was one of those nights just after pay day and I found myself scrolling through various beauty websites. I ended up on MAC’s site, looking at their new-in section and loved how soft the Powder Kiss lipsticks seemed. After a quick Instagram check to see the types of looks makeup lovers were creating with the lipsticks, I decided I’d give them a try.

The thing that stood out immediately was how the Powder Kiss Lipstick simply glided on. There is zero drag! In an instant, I wished I’d bought several other colours, as they blend so well into one another, making the perfect ombre lip. I bought Mull It Over, kind of a warm bricky coral, as well as My Tweedy, a super pretty soft peach. So far my fave way to wear them is to apply My Tweedy all-over then dab on Mull It Over in the centre of my lips, top and bottom, with my finger. Two hours later, it almost feels like I have zero lipstick on, but when I check, it’s still there. Love!
