Shady aestheticians, Bali Body's self-tanner marketing and toxic beauty on America's Next Top Model

This week I’m diving into three key beauty stories that have basically annoyed a lot of us, or, if not you, me!

First up, it’s a shady aesthetician who Photoshopped Stranger Things actress Natalia Dyer to look prettier, then I move on to the toxic beauty standards that Tyra Banks and her America’s Next Top Model team fed us back in the 2000s and finally I settle on the Bali Body Self-tanner marketing that basically shows white women how they can change their skin colour while never having to deal with racism, stereotypes or hate.

I’d love to know what you thought of these stories and please let me know if you’ve got a particular beauty story you’d like me to look into. Email me beautymepodcast@gmail.com or DM me on Twitter or Instagram @beautymepodcast.
